Numatics' Serial Communications, or 'Fieldbus' product offering is a revolutionary way to deploy valve manifolds and the components associated with them in a such a way as to reduce the wiring, connections and confusion involved with deploying discreet components.

Building on Numatics' reputation for modularity, Fieldbus products can mount directly to any valve series. Unlike many other manufacturers who offer fieldbus on only one or two valve series, Numatics offers fieldbus connectivity on an overwhelming majority of their valve series. And, unlike some manufacturers, Numatics uses only two module styles; the G2-1 and the G2-2 module.

Numatics is also unmatched in their offering of different protocols, including DeviceNet, Allen Bradley Remote I/O, ProfiBus DP (1.5 and 12Mbps), Interbus-S, ControlNet, and Allen Bradley's new system, DeviceLogix. EthernetIP will also be released in the very near future.
