| June 25th, 2007: The one constant in our universe is that all things change. As our customers change, so do we change. That’s why on June 25th, Lydey Air Controls officially changed our name to Lydey Automation.
When Lydey Automation started out as Lydey Air Controls in the late 1970s, we were a distributor for a company who only sold valves--Numatics. Today, neither Numatics, nor indeed, Lydey Automation, is involved solely in air controls. As our manufacturers have grown beyond just air controls, so has our company grown beyond air controls. Over the past 30 years, our company has seen new business growth in all aspects of industrial automation, from the addition of smart pneumatic controls, a large growth in the mechanical and motion side of pneumatic automation, and the addition of other non-pneumatic areas of automation, such as safeguarding, vacuum handling, robotic and sensing technologies for automation.
All other aspects of our company are exactly the same as they’ve been in the past. We still have all the same people and the same focus. We still represent the same people we did before, and still will provide the same high level of service we work to provide on a daily basis.
We’re only now doing it under the name Lydey Automation.
